Ottomans & Pillows...

Here are some Raggy Pillow slips I finished yesterday. Already on Ebay... I just love these darker pink ones!

Some pale pink covers...

And these are some picture's of the Ottoman's I recovered. I painted the bases Antique white, and found this stunning fabric at Spotlight. The fabric actually looks quite vintage, although the photo's make it look quite boring... so much better in person. Sorry I forgot the 'before' pic's.

And today I couldn't resist a trip to my nearest quilting shop "The Blanket Box" and found these pretty fabrics I plan on using for a new quilt. I already have the design in my head...just have to make it now...
My eldest son Jay just left for camp this morning. He's getting so big, I wasn't even allowed to wave him off...how sad. I honestly felt like crying. But I guess you need to let them have some independence at some point, I think he's trying to find his feet at High School, and is trying so hard to be a little bit more grown up than he really is.
Best wishes,
Jenelle

dear jenelle..the cushions look totally gorgeous...clever girl..

and DONT worry about the SON going off to camp business..

I have 2 boys..both 3rd yr uni...both skiing together in japan at the minute...One loves me to kiss him..the other thinks its weird that his mother wants to even touch him!!

BUT they still both LOVE me...KNOW what the go is!!...all boys are different..BUT in the END..they LOVE Their mums & dads..BUT they ALL show it in different ways..if you get my drift...

hope this little bit of mundane advice helps you a little...relax..stay calm..Boys will be BOYS..as they say..

I am in love with your cushions, they are just the sweetest!
The ottomans look really nice, I agree Spotlight have really got some nice fabrics these days & if you pics the right days you can get them at bargain prices, which makes it even better.
I hope your son has fun at camp. even though there way no hugs I bet he secretly wanted to give you one but was worried about what they others would say.

I love that mint green with roses... who is the maker of that fabric. I've looked pretty near all the way back now on your blog and it's lovely and fun. Thank you for sharing with me.
